June 8th – June 30th Pylos – Gialova

Spectacular.  Our last summer here in the Chora museum and in Gialova. Congratulations to Joanne on a fantastic job well done.  It is sad to be finished, but the season was amazing!  Gialova, Mystras, Sparta, the Mani, Olympia . . . we outdid ourselves! And the material is finished – all Drawn!

June 30th – July 15th National Museum - Athens

Great experience as always working in the National Museum Prehistoric Lab.  This year was too short.  We finished up the photography and I drew stone and gold seal stones and other small metal finds.  Coffee breaks and conversation was especially enjoyable,  as usual.  And weekend trips to Meteora and Crete made the heat of Athens more bearable.
